Two export ranges ★
Two independent fields: a source page range (which PDF pages to impose — great for N-up and ganging) and an output sheet range (which finished sheets to write). The latter is a quick reprint of a single damaged sheet without exporting the whole run — keeping its original number. How it works →
Guillotine cutting guide ★
An optional page at the end of the PDF with a sheet schematic and a numbered table of cut positions in millimetres — vertical cuts measured from the left edge, horizontal from the top, the way a guillotine is dialled in. Sheets with an identical layout share one guide. Details →
QR / Code 128 tracking codes ★
A code in each sheet corner identifies the job, sheet number and side (front/back) — for scanning at the cutter, folder or stitcher. QR or Code 128, content with slug-style placeholders ({jobid}, {sheet}, {side}). Drawn as vectors and visible in the preview too. Configuration →
Conformant PDF/X-1a & X-4 with ICC ★
PDF/X export now actually embeds an OutputIntent and the chosen ICC profile (DestOutputProfile), so the file passes print-shop validation — previously the profile and standard choice were ignored. The Ghostscript handoff is fixed too (deadlock, SAFER, cancellation). PDF/X & ICC →
New binding layouts ★
Saddle-stitch N-up: 2-up stacked copies (cut into strips → fold separately, digital) and a true 8-page 2×2 signature with a double fold. Gatefold: 3- and 4-panel styles with a configurable fold reduction so the wings don't buckle at the spine. Saddle layouts →
Imposition fixes + hardening ★
Fixed creep compensation (correct direction, symmetric shift toward the spine), Z-fold page order, and duplex in roll-fed and wiro (mirrored back). Plus hardening: installer SHA-256 verification on update, in-memory license validation, and an operation history with restore-to-checkpoint (1.4.0). Full changelog →

Who is imPRESS Studio for?
