A hot folder processes files from a selected directory using configured settings. Workflow adds job management: a portal, queue, statuses, history and team roles.
Can I save my own imposition settings?
Yes. The template manager lets you prepare and save settings for a product, then reuse them for future jobs.
How do I get started?
Download the 1.7.3 installer and launch the application. You do not need a key or a connection to a licence server.
Is Impress Workflow a separate application?
Workflow is part of imPRESS Studio. Enable the built-in server in the application settings. Your team can manage jobs, while customers upload files through the web portal. Roles and permissions control access.
Is the application free?
Yes. Version 1.7.3 provides every feature without payment, activation or a time limit, including commercial use.
Can I automate recurring jobs?
Yes. Use saved templates, hot folders and the CLI. Workflow also provides processing rules, a job queue and a REST API.
Which operating systems are supported?
imPRESS Studio runs on Windows 10 and 11. Once the server is configured, the Workflow portal is accessible in a web browser.
